Data Collection Unit

This unit is an electronic data processing unit, which has a microprocessor and memory and is able to perform procedures, control and transmission of data simultaneously. This procedure can be performed either automatically or at the request of the central computer system.
The sound transmission of the measurement results and data of operation of the sensor unit to the central computer, ensured thanks to the integration mechanism of communication errors (CRC), and the transfer repeated if necessary until successful.
The memory unit can store measurement data and status of the computer, at least up to 30,000 measurements per channel. The device has the ability to record the measurements of each sensor (sampling rate) per channel per period from 0.1 seconds to 1440 minutes (1 day). Each channel has the possibility of independent choice in the pace of recording measurements. Such data are deleted after confirmation by the host.
To meet the needs of each station Sensors used many units as needed for the «reading» of all sensors in parallel. Each unit has ability to support expansion by up to 300 sensors as needed. That may be connected to link master / slave and other relevant data loggers and remote controllers with individual sensors for the collection and aggregation of data communication. The data recorder is such that allows connection to almost any type of sensor, or a simple analog or «Smart» digital.

Furthermore, it can be placed either online, offline or in operation, that has the ability to query the sensors (polling) or in real time with more frequency and 0.1sec as above, or circular, with a choice of sensors of interest to the operator Control Center at a time.
The unit is able to perform self-monitoring and report on the computer system of the current mode of the same, and sensors. Plant self-monitoring (watchdog), with the possibility of re microprocessor unit and communication. Programming is done remotely from a central computer, or even locally from laptop PC, provided they have the appropriate software. For this reason, the recorder is equipped with serial port RS-232 for use with computer maintenance and a standard port for communication with the central computer system, either serial or Ethernet / IP.
Regarding energy, the drive is low so as not to burden the entire consumption of the Station. Indicative prices are less than (standby mode). Finally, the unit requires little maintenance and has a high MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure), being installed in remote locations.

GSM / GPRS Modem

The GSM / GPRS Modem is installed in a special box which is presented below. The modem interfaces with the unit / collection of data through a simple serial port (RS-232) and the IP camera through 10/100 Base-T Ethernet port.
Each modem stations via GPRS sensor interfacing with the Control Center through a Gateway. The way to interconnect and transfer data is presented below.

Housing Equipment kit

The box housing the equipment is sealed package with the option of outdoor fabric to support and able to accommodate the / units / units of data collection, the GSM / GPRS Modem and all necessary equipment and wiring, connectors and Adapters. The box has IP65 specifications and dimensions greater than 60 cm x 40 cm x 40 cm, it is easy to settle in the interior of all units that have no standards IR65 (sensor temperature / relative humidity, atmospheric pressure, Reading Units, Modems, wiring, etc.)

The proposed location of sensor stations, three of the four have access to the grid. The fourth station unfortunately lacks access to electricity from the specific point of installation. How to Web Placement

The placement of the selected sensors follow certain rules to be able to operate optimally without being affected and not-respectively-in turn affecting the neighboring sensors.
Briefly, follow instructions for the installation of sensors in each type of tower support:

  • Sensors measuring air temperature and humidity

  • Cameras

  • Data Collection Unit and GSM / GPRS Modem
